For up to date, general meeting information, go to the DCFCPUG main site and click MEETINGS and check for the latest updates/details to our July 20th meeting in Bethesda, MD!
At one of the DCFCPUG meetings in 2011, someone will be the lucky winner of a KiPro among other valuable sponsor prizes. DCFCPUG Membership is FREE to join, and the prize raffle will be for registered members only! You must attend in person to be eligible to win! Who will be our big winner for 2011, will it be YOU?
We have been working to establishing a viable process and program to engage our online readership while providing an environment that we can learn, share and explore Apple Pro applications, Adobe and Avid among other tools and platforms used in the industry. The worlds of photography and cinematography are merging, come be part of the excitement!
While Apple Pro apps are a focus for the group, we do engage with the best of breed, industry apps, and bring you the tricks of the trade and services to improve our workflow to stay creative and competitive. Invite your friends, associates, colleagues and anyone who is interested in keeping this activity vibrant, and productive. We want you to take a more active role in 2011!
We are doing our part to provide a DC metro based FCP group but I do ask that you set aside one day each month to attend our meetings and share your knowledge with us at our meetings and online. Go to the main site and view upcoming DCFCPUG meetings and look out for the registration posts online or in your email (for registered users)... Once a registered member, don't forget to LOGIN and make sure your profile is current with a valid email address, etc. Some content on the site is visible only to registered users, so don't miss out! We are in discussions for getting a larger venue to support our growing membership, all supported by your active participation in raffles, special events which allow me to keep the price of admission ridiculously low. Your patience will be rewarded with a nice larger venue as our home base!
We have a growing sponsorship program that supports our DCFCP Winner's Circle raffle each month. We raffled off thousands of dollars worth of prizes last year, and continue the trend this year! You can be a winner too, just buy raffle tickets, attend and take a chance at winning & participating in the fun, food and friendship!
To keep money handling to a minimum, all registrations and raffles tickets are conducted ONLINE. Cash on site will be a management decision to accept. Plan ahead, pay online and enjoy the fun. ;-)
Check out our sponsors on the main site and give them as try as they are reaching out to our creative community to provide great tools to complement and enhance our production value to our customers. They support us, so the least we can do is support them by attending the meetings and contributing to our community knowledge.
Come on out and support YOUR PUG. We'll see you there! REGISTER EARLY as seating is LIMITED and will go FAST, especially for THIS meeting!
The agenda will be posted soon as its finalized on the main website (DCFCPUG).
Check back daily for any updates and send your greetings on Twitter, Facebook, DCFCPUG site, etc!
Don't forget to bring your creative friends and other colleagues to the event... Let's show our sponsor how much we appreciate them supporting our DCFCPUG family!
